How to Take a Simple Outfit to the Next Level

Sometimes it's hard to find a balance between overly dressy and super casual. A lot of the time we want our outfits to be easy and comfortable to wear but not boring. We want to stand out from the crowd in someway but not look over the top. Below are some EASY tips on how to do so!

TIP 1

Pink Watercolor Sarf

Add a fun Scarf!

Scarf: Pink Watercolor Scarf

Top: Shirred Dahlia Top

TIP 2

Top: Corazon Tunic

Bottoms: Selwyn Legging

Shoes: Sorel Kinetic Sneak

Top: Agda V Neck

Skirt: Tulum Skirt

Necklace: African Opal Cradle Necklace

Add a cute knot to your shirt! This can be added in the front, side or back. It brings a little more character to your plain tee while also creating more shape to the body.

TIP 3

Add a sun hat and colorful accessories!

Dress: Merveille Dress

Sun Hat: Capistrano Sun Hat

Bracelets: BelJoy Beaded Bracelets

TIP 4

Throw on a UNIQUE jean!

Jeans:

Top: Agda Short Sleeve Top

Shoes: Sorel Ella Sandal

Purse: Cece Vintage Crossbody

Bracelet: Lizou Wrap Bracelet

TIP 5

Skirt: Avalon Stripe Maxi Skirt

Purse: Molly Slouchy Hobo Bag

Top:

Skirt: Janessa Skirt

Shoes: Olukai Ke'a Sandal

Purse: Mandala Shoulder Bag

Pick a patterned top or bottom & pair it with a solid colored piece!

TIP 6

Add a jacket that has a different color and material from your solid colored maxi! The mesh fabric from this crop jacket adds texture and interest to the outfit.

Jacket: Alo Field Crop Jacket

Dress: Cozy Up Maxi Dress

TIP 7

Don't be afraid to get creative and layer pieces! This outfit, for example, is actually a dress/cover up that also works perfectly as shown here! It adds just a little bit more to the outfit.

Dress: Buenos Dias Dress
